Robert M. Spratt, 63, of Keansburg peacefully passed away Saturday, March 2nd, at his daughter's home. Robert was born in Red Bank, and grew up in Port Monmouth. He lived most his life in Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Robert served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a roofer and salesman at Garden State Roofing in Middletown for many years. When he was younger, he enjoyed photography and building model cars , more recently he spent time fishing and building things in his workshop.
Robert was predeceased by his first wife Patricia (Sohl) Spratt in 1991. He is survived by his second wife, Joann (Graul) Spratt, his daughter Cynthia Spratt and grandchildren Michael and Nicole Larsen, all of Toms River, his brother James Spratt of Fla. and his sister Linda O'Donnell of Westmont.
Friends may pay their respects on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and again Thursday from 10-11 am at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford The funeral service will held 11am Thurday at the funeral home. Burial and committal services follow at the New Jersey Veteran's Cemetery in Arneytown.
