Donald Straniero

Donald Anthony Straniero, 48, a lifelong resident of Middletown, passed away Monday, December 23rd, at Riverview Medical Center. Donald was born in Red Bank,  on July 3, 1971, a son of Emily and Joseph Straniero, of Middletown. Don was a graduate of Middletown High School North and Brookdale Community College. He enjoyed fishing and working on computers. Don was also very musically inclined. He played the keyboard and sang with several bands through the years. 
   Donald is survived by his parents, Emily and Joseph Straniero of Middletown; two daughters, Paige and Kaitlyn Straniero, of North Middletown; four brothers and their spouses; Joseph Straniero and Stan Lipinski  of Neptune; Bill and Kathy Straniero, of Port Monmouth; Richard and Joan Straniero, of North Middletown; Robert and Laurie Straniero, of Jackson, along with 6 nieces and nephews.
   Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Thursday from 5-8 pm and Friday from 11 - 12 pm just prior to the funeral service at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford. The burial and committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
