Nancy Terwilliger, 75, a longtime resident of Union Beach, passed away Sunday, October 13th. Nancy was born on August 29th 1944 in Perth Amboy NJ, the daughter of the late Lillian Dumenko and Neils Sorensen. After marrying the love of her life, David G Terwilliger, Nancy and David moved to Union Beach. Nancy loved to be active and outdoors with her husband ,whether it’s out on a jet ski or a boat, or even under the water scuba diving. She also enjoyed fishing, crabbing and deer hunting. She was a good shot with a shot gun or a bow! You could also find her riding her motorcycle alongside her soulmate, David. She also enjoyed spending quiet time knitting, crocheting and gardening. Really, she could do just about anything. She was devoted to her beloved family, her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her whole world.
Nancy is survived by her devoted husband of 54 years, David G. Terwilliger and their 4 children; daughters Denise Love and Donna Terwilliger, both of Union Beach; and two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Catherine Terwilliger, of North Carolina; and Dennis and Michelle Terwilliger, of Bayville. Nancy also leaves behind her sister , Barbara Hand, of Virginia; Adored niece and nephew Frances & John Parkinson of Hazlet, 11 Grandchildren: David, Preston, Bobby, Maggie, Leonard, Christopher, Cody, Brandon, Dylan, Jason, and Ava Bella, along with 3 great grandchildren; Brandon, Jr., Cameron and Leonard, Jr. She was predeceased by her brother Kenny Kasler 2 years ago.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects Thursday from 5 - 8 pm and Friday from 10 - 11 am immediately followed by the funeral service at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St, Belford. The burial and committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
