Terri Harris-Hollins, 42, of Hazlet, passed away Wednesday, November 6th, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Terri was born in Harlem, New York on April 13, 1977, a daughter of Yvonne and Calvin Harris. She lived in the Bronx before moving to Hazlet 11 years ago. Terri was a free spirit; she loved to be outside. She spent time at the beach or walking on trails. Her calling in life was to care for people. Her choices in careers reflected that. She was a home health aid for years, caring for the sick, but her dream was to own a food concession truck where she could care for people's cravings with her culinary skills. She loved to cook, and as everyone knows, the way to someones heart is through their stomach. Terri had a huge heart and it was filled with love for her family and friends.
Terri is survived by her husband of 21 years, and her sweetheart since junior high school, Julian Hollins, and their children; Breyanna and Justin Hollins. Terri is also leaves behind her sister, Terrelle Harris (niece Tori Tompkins); brother, Terrence Harris; Uncle Michael Gilkes along with her beloved granddaughter, Maliah Davenport.
A Celebration of Terri's Life will be held 7 pm Friday, November 15, 2019 at Lambert Treasures, 2916 Frederick Douglas Blvd., Upper Level, 154th St. and 8th Ave, Harlem , New York
