Ann Diomede-Reynolds, 82, of Atlantic Highlands, passed away Saturday, July 8th. Ann was born on March 9, 1941, a daughter of the late Adaline and Paul Diomede. She was raised in Weehawkin. After high school she moved to New York City where she lived over a decade before moving down to Keansburg. In the late 90's , Ann moved to New Hampshire with her husband Philip. After his passing, she returned to New Jersey , settling in Atlantic Highlands to be closer to her family.
Ann worked in upper management at AT&T for 30 years. She started her career in New York City and retired from their Basking Ridge office in the early 90's. After AT&T, Ann taught 4th grade for a private school here in New Jersey, then taught for several years in New Hampshire. While living in New Hampshire, Ann belonged to Our Lady of Lourdes Church where she was an alter server and taught CCD.
Ann enjoyed travelling around the world. She has been to Italy, the Pyramids and many other foreign places. She also enjoyed vacationing at her home in Myrtle Beach. Ann could often be found partakng in a card game like pinochle, board game or even dominoes with her family. She especially liked playing bingo. Ann will fondly be remembered as a loving sister, aunt and dear friend.
Ann was predeceased by her husband, Philip K. Reynolds in 2013 and her brother Anthony Diomede.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Mary Diomede along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews
Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Thursday from 4 - 8 pm and again on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Ann's Church in Keansburg, at 11 am on Friday, July 14th. The Burial and committal will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
