Anna (Conway) Capalbo

 Anna Capalbo, age 75, of Keansburg, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024. Anna was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her.

  Born in Newark on August 25, 1948, Anna was the daughter of the late Joseph Conway and Catherine Lutes. She was raised in Union Beach and remained in the Bayshore area for her entire life. Anna was known for her sense of humor and her ability to bring joy to those around her. She had a warm and inviting personality that made everyone feel welcome in her presence.

  Anna had a passion for animals, especially cats, and enjoyed spending time at home watching movies, listening to music, and crocheting. However, her greatest joy came from her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart.

 Anna is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Capalbo and their children; Robyn (Kirk Pelletier) Capalbo; Robert (Susan) Capalbo; Lisa (Bryan) Mathes; and Brian Capalbo. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren; Luke and Kaitlyn Pelletier; Jonathan Capalbo and Grayson and Rayna Mathes.

  Anna was predeceased by her sister Yvonne Sosley.

Anna will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.  

 A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, March 29th from 5 – 7 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A Service will conclude the evening.
