Brian S. Copeman, 54, recently of Howell, passed away Saturday, May 20th after a long illness. Brian was born in Plainfield, NJ on April 25, 1969, a son of the late Elizabeth and Stanley Copeman. He was raised in Port Monmouth and lived there most of his life. He operated AM/PM Towing in Port Monmouth for over 20 years and retired once he became sick.
Brian was a sports enthusiast. He could often be found watching a game and socializing with his friends. His favorite teams were the Kansas City Chiefs, the NJ Devils and the Yankees. Brian enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. In recent years, he enjoyed farm life and time spent with his dogs, pigs and chickens. Brian will always be remembered as the the life of the party who had a contagious smile.
Brian is survived by his 4 children; two daughters, Abigail Copeman and Shelby Copeman; two sons and daughters-in-law; Kyle and Shannon Copeman, and Dillon and Kate Copeman. He also leaves behind his brother John (Lisa) Copeman and 3 grandchildren; Lucy and Shea Copeman and Madison Alexander, along with his dear friend Cristin Dovenero and many other extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Gathering will take place Thursday from 5 - 8 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A Service will conclude the evening.
