Carol A. Emm, 61, of Cliffwood, passed away Tuesday, June 14th, at Bayshore Community Hospital. Carol was born in Red Bank, on July 8, 1954, the daughter of the late Mae and John Nash. She was raised in Belford and lived in Keansburg for many years before moving to Cliffwood in 1999. Carol was a greeting cards salesperson for American Greetings and maintained the stock for many area stores. She was a member of the Cross of Glory Lutheran Church in Aberdeen, and served several terms as Past President of the VFW Guadalcanal Post 4745 in Cliffwood Beach, Ladies Auxillary. Carol was a true American Patriot. Besides loving her country, Carol also loved butterflies, Elton John, Barbra Streisand and the color purple.
Carol is survived by her husband of 36 years, Robert S. Emm, Sr. and their children Heather and Robert Jr. Carol also leaves behind her brother William Nash.
