Charles Robert "Bobby" Monahan, 53, of Maderia Beach, Florida, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Bobby was born in Red Bank, N.J. on February 13, 1966, a son of Patricia-Anne and Thomas Monahan. He was raised in Belford and travelled around before settling in Florida 15 years ago. Bobby was a boat captain and long liner fisherman on the vessel Big Dog, out of Tampa. He enjoyed being outdoors whether he was out fishing or camping up in the family cabin in Canada. Bobby was an avid NY Mets and Miami Dolphins fan. Bobby could always put a smile on your face. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Bobby is survived by his parents, Thomas "Jack" and Patricia-Anne Monahan and his daughter Anabel Monahan, along with his brother Jimmy Monahan and 5 sisters; Donna Nole, Erin Dobry, Kerri Monahan, Bridget Green, and Diane Johnson. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends that he considered family.
