Christina Mildenberg Obituary

Christina L. Mildenberg, 75, of Middletown, passed away on July 1, 2026. She was a loving and kind woman whose warmth, devotion, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Christina was born on October 2, 1950, in Elizabeth, a daughter of the late Christian and Margaret Maul. She was raised in Highlands and graduated from Henry Hudson School. After her school years, she made her home in Keyport before retiring to Middletown in 2012.

Throughout her life, Christina was known for her joy, laughter, and the care she showed to her family and friends. She worked for many years as a legal secretary at the Law Firm of Drazin and Warshaw in Hazlet, where she was respected for her professionalism, reliability, and dedication. Her years of service reflected the same thoughtful nature that she carried into every part of her life.

Christina found great joy in traveling, especially on cruises and on trips to visit her family in Ireland. These journeys brought her happiness and lasting memories, and she treasured the experiences she gathered along the way. She was an avid reader who appreciated a good book, and she also enjoyed watching a good movie. Christina had a deep love for animals and was an animal lover throughout her life. Her home was often shared with several beloved pets, each of whom received her affection and care.

Above all, Christina cherished time spent with her family. She especially loved being with her daughter and grandsons, and those moments brought her the greatest joy. She was a devoted mother and grandmother whose love was evident in the way she spoke, cared, and gave of herself. Her grandsons were adored by her, and she took great pride in their lives and accomplishments. The bonds she shared with her family were among the most meaningful parts of her life.

Christina is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Aaron Plant, and her two adored grandsons, Hunter and Zachary. She also leaves behind her sister, Louise Gray and her niece, Angela Gray. Her family will remember her for her loving heart, her kind nature, and wonderful sense of humor that she carried with her each day.

Christina L. Mildenberg will be remembered with deep affection by her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her life was one of love, kindness, and devotion, and her memory will remain a lasting source of comfort to those she leaves behind.
