Diane M. Urbine, 75, a longtime resident of Belford, passed away Thursday, August 4th. Diane was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 27, 1947, a daughter of the late Mary and Ignatias Bogdanski. Her parents moved to Iselin to raise their family and Diane ended up settling in Belford 47 years ago.
After retiring from her career at Purolator, Diane went on to be an office manager for several recreational vehicle companies. She started with Sun RV Headquarters and after that company split, she went to work for Germaine's RV Headquarters in Cream Ridge. She most recently worked for Adventures on Wheels, closer to home in Middletown.
Diane loved spending time at the beach. When she was home, she could often be found watching Judge Judy, listening to Elvis or cooking. She was especially known for her deviled eggs and pepper steak. She will fondly be remembered as a loving mother, proud and doting grandmother and dear friend.
Diane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Maureen Urbine. She also leaves behind 2 sisters; Terry Goley and Marianne Aquaro; along with 5 grandchildren; Ashley, Matthew, John, Julianna, Liam and 5 great grandchildren
Friends and relatives may pay their respects Sunday from 2 - 5 pm and again Monday form 10 - 11 am immediately followed by the funeral service at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. Burial and committal will take place at Bayview Cemetery.
