Donald Donovan

It is with great sadness that the family of Donald Donovan announces his passing at home on July 26, 2017, at the age of 74, after a long battle with congestive heart failure. He was born on July 9, 1943, in Elizabeth, NJ, to Myrtle and Joseph Donovan. He spent most of his life in Middletown Twp., NJ employed as a heavy equiptment operator for Middleotwn Township public works, left to retire in Aiken, South Carolina, and returned to New Jersey in Lakewood, 2 years ago.
   Donald will be lovingly remember by his wife, Patricia; his sister Terry Kenny ; his son and daughter-in-law , Donald and Terri Donovan; his daughter Erin Haupt and 9 grandchildren; Kyle, Ryan, Ian, Heather, Erianna, TJ, Emma, Jalia, and Braydon, along with many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
   Donald was loud, and funny. He loved cars, trucks, boats, motorcycle riding, fishing, cooking, and watching the Food Network and History Channel. Most of all, he loved being with his family.
   He will be cremated and a celebration of his life will be held 4:40 pm on Sunday, July 30th at the Middletown Reformed Church., 121 Kings Highway, Middletown, NJ
