Edward C. Campo, Sr., 60 , a lifelong resident of Belford, went to our Lord on Monday, May 27th. Ed's main interest in life was excavating and construction. He treasured his two children and all they have accomplished in life. He was a loyal friend to many and always helping where he could. Ed enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, crabbing and just working in his garden. Ed was a devoted son to his mother and a constant companion to his late father. He will be missed by many family members and friends.
Ed was predeceased by his father Phil Campo in 1996, nephew Corey Campo and niece Ashley Conroy. He is survived by his mother Evelyn Schade in Virginia and his devoted children Eddie, Jr. and Bobbi Ann, both of Belford along with their mother Patti Merse. Ed also leaves behind his brother Philip and sister-in-law, Abby of Belford, and his two sisters; Kathleen "Pudgie" Conroy of Rumson and Victoria Campo and her companion Bob Schueler of Virginia; nieces, Candy, Kimmy, Faith, Breana ; nephew Phil, Jr. , Rob, Nick and many aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.
