Edward J. Szumowicz

 Edward J. Szumowicz, 55, Middletown, passed away Saturday, February 4th. Edward was born in Red Bank, on March 7, 1967, a son of the late Doris (Hilton) and Stanley  Szumowicz. He lived most of his life in Keansburg.
  Eddie enjoyed helping people. He was very handy and could work on friends' cars or help around their homes. He could often be found at the beach fishing or at home playing video games and cuddling with his dogs. Eddie loved all animals, especially his dogs. He will be fondly remembered as a loving husband, brother and friend. 
   Eddie is survived by his wife, Heather Allen and his 5 siblings; four sisters, Sandra Brieley, Karen Mundell, Alice Gull, and Lynn Pech along with his brother, Stanley "Stosh" Szumowicz, Jr.
   Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Wednesday from 10 am - 12 noon  at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. 
  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
