Erica L. (Pastorek) Yager

Erica L. Yager, 40, of Cliffwood Beach, passed away Monday, July 10th, after a valiant battle with cancer. Erica was born in Secaucus, a daughter of Gloria Pastorek and the late William Pastorek. She was raised and lived in Port Monmouth until 2000 when she moved to Cliffwood Beach. Erica loved spending time with her family and friends, especially at the beach or boating. Her boys and family were the most important part of her life.
Erica is survived by her husband of 19 years, Elmer S. Yager and their 3 boys; Elmer W. and twins Kevin and Garrett. Her nephew Mikey was considered one of the boys too. Erica also leaves behind her sister, Erin Pastorek, and brother William Pastorek.
 Friends and relatives may pay their respects Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm  and Friday from 8-9 am at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Catherine's Church in Middletown, at 9:30 am on Friday, July 14th. A private cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations to help offset medical expenses.
