Frances C. Zeigler, 89, of Highlands passed away peacefully surrounded by her friends and family Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Frances was born and raised in Hoboken before moving to the Jersey Shore in 1968. She is one of the few remaining descendants of the prominent Wallace family from Hoboken. Frances would always say, "I had a great life, I walked The Wall of China, I walked where Jesus Christ walked in Israel; and I have three beautiful kids, two wonderful grandchildren and am blessed with three great grandchildren." Frances loved her church community and loved learning the bible. She was incredibly talented; sewing for church fairs and events, knitting hats/scarfs/throws for friends and family, embroidery projects for every holiday. Frances loved to read and talk politics. Her love of reading was fostered by her Aunt (Hoboken's Librarian). She read anywhere from 3-5 books a week!
Frances is survived by her daughter, Dianne Zeigler, Monmouth Beach; and two sons John Zeigler, Atlantic Highlands; and Daniel Zeigler, Red Bank. She also leaves behind 2 granddaughters along with 3 great grandchildren.
