Jane R. Clark, 79, a longtime resident of Middletown, peacefully passed away Tuesday, October 29th, at her son's home in Green Township, NJ. Jane was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania on February 7, 1940, the only child of the late Margaret and John Bonawitz. After marrying the love of her life, William Clark,III, they settled in Middletown. Jane was a secretary at Fort Monmouth for over 25 years. She was a member of Tower Hill Presbyterian Church. Jane enjoyed always being active whether she was out walking her dog, shopping, spending time at the beach and pool or doing chores around the home, she always found something to do. She also enjoyed quiet time spent reading or going out to dinner with her family and friends.
Jane was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, William Clark, III in 2012. She is survived by 3 children; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Garo Karakashian and Karen and Mike Carroll; along with her son David Clark and his companion, Ludmila. Jane also leaved behind her 4 beloved granddaughters; Heather, Courtney, Nicole and Dana.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects Friday from 11-1 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St, Belford. The Funeral Service will immediately follow at 1 pm. The Entombment and Committal will take place at Fairview Cemetery.
