John Patrick Kane IV, 50, passed unexpectedly on The First of April, 2026, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
John was born on April 15th, 1975, in Middletown, New Jersey to Debra Farrell and John P. Kane III. He graduated from Middletown North High School as a multi-sport athlete and MVP. John soon went on to start a successful career in HVAC, relied upon and respected by every single one of his colleagues.
John was the most devoted and loyal father to his four children - Collin, John V, Liv, and Kylie - working tirelessly to provide them a home full of love and laughter. He was the most happy when he was fishing and camping, long-lived family traditions. Despite his busy schedule, John never missed a game with the New York Giants or New Jersey Devils.
Those close to him will remember his incomparable drive, hard-headedness, dry humor, and contagious smile. John believed in hard work, and even more in the importance of being present for his friends and family.
John is survived by his father and stepmother, John III and Doris; his mother and stepfather, Debra and Kevin Laux; his children; Collin, John V, Liv, and Kylie; and his cherished life partner and mother of his boys, Trish. He also leaves behind his three sisters: Chelle (Jarrod) Plattel, Kristin (Marty) Laux Visaggio and Colleen Laux (Travis Curtis). Every one of which was graced by the opportunity to know a man as unique as John.
A memorial service will be held at Scott and Kedz Home for Funerals in Belford, New Jersey on Thursday, April 9th at 4pm. Family and friends are invited to attend this event, meant to commemorate the life lived by John.
