John W. Noweski, 71, formerly of Belford, passed away after a long illness on Thursday, June 20th, surrounded by his family. John was born in Newark, on July 28, 1947, a son of the late Agnes and Anthony Noweski. John married and moved his family to Belford where they lived for 45 years before he and his wife retired to Barnegat 2 years ago. John was proud to be a Teamster. He has worked for the Teamsters Local 560 since he was in high school.
John was a dedicated family man. He worked to provide for his family and when he was not working he was spending quality time with them whether it was taking the family on a road trip, coaching his girls' softball teams or simply staying at home and watching a Yankees game. Once his grandchildren came along, John's world revolved around them.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Linda Noweski and their two daughters; Linda, and her husband Michael Parulis and Krystle Noweski. He also leaves behind his much adored grandchildren; Kayla, Michael and Brooke Lin.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Catherine's RC Church, Bray Ave in Middletown at 10:45 am on Monday, June 24th. Entombment of ashes will follow Fairview Cemetery .
