Joseph William Boyle, known affectionately as Joe to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on June 25, 1956, in the Village of Albion, New York, Joe spent his childhood in the Bronx and then Yonkers before embarking on a life filled with travel and adventure. Throughout his years, Joe lived in Keansburg, Florida, South Carolina, and Texas, before finally settling back in New Jersey a decade ago.
Joe's life was marked by the love he shared with his family and companions. He is survived by his devoted partner of the last ten years, Abigail Aponte. Joe's journey through life included the companionship of his first wife, Patricia Boyle, who predeceased him. His second wife, Margie Boyle, survives him in North Carolina. His third marriage to Theresa Boyle ended with her passing, and he is also survived by his fourth wife, Tina Boyle, in South Carolina. The loss of his son, Christopher Boyle, in 2011, was a profound sorrow in Joe's life.
A hardworking man, Joe dedicated most of his life to the construction industry, where he was known for his generous spirit, adventurous nature, and handy skills. His colleagues and friends within the industry will remember him as a man who could always be relied upon, both on and off the job site.
Joe's passions extended beyond his work. An avid reader, he found solace and excitement in the pages of novels by William Johnstone and Louis Lamour. His enthusiasm for sports was undeniable; he was a fervent supporter of the Mets and Giants. Joe and Abby shared many joyful moments at Blue Claws Stadium.
After an early retirement due to COPD, Joe discovered a new passion in crafting jewelry. With a creative touch, he designed and sold his unique creations at local fairs, bringing joy to those who appreciated his work. His love for animals shone brightly, especially for his beloved dog, Midnight. Joe's patriotism was unwavering, and he took great pride in his country.
Joe's life was a testament to his adventurous spirit, his generosity, and his ability to turn his hand to anything he set his mind to. He will be remembered as a man who lived life to the fullest, who loved deeply, and who left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Joe's legacy will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of his loved ones and the many lives he touched.
