Linda Howarth (nee Goldman), 61, of Hazlet, peacefully passed away at home with her family by her side on Saturday, January 7th. Linda was born in Elizabeth and lived there for over 30 years before moving to the Union Beach - Hazlet area 20 years ago. Linda loved Betty Boop and enjoyed watching paranormal shows and the Forensic Files on television, but her favorite passtime was being with her family and friends. Linda was always proud of being a mother and grandmother.
Linda is survived by her husband, Richard Howarth and their 8 children; four daughters, Jennifer Sharkey, Patti-Lynn Goldman Deemer, Donna VanPelt, Kelly Howarth; four sons, John, Ronald, Richard, and Robert Howarth. Linda also leaves behind her sister, Pattiann Goldman, brother John Goldman and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects on from Monday from 5-8 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford. The funeral service will be held that evening.
