Lois M. Goble, 89, of West Keansburg, passed away Friday, March 16th Lois was born in Parlin, a daughter of the late Margaret and Joseph Mount. She lived most of her life in the Keyport and Union Beach area before retiring to West Keansburg 26 years ago. Lois belonged to St Clement's Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo with her girlfriends in her younger years. Once her grandson came along, he was her pride and joy. She loved to spend time with him and take him on vacation. Lois also accompanied her daughter's family on camping trips. Family time was her favorite time.
Lois was predeceased by her husband, William Goble, in 1997. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Andrew Stevenson, of Cliffwood Beach; and her son,William Goble, of West Keansburg. She also leaves behind two sisters, Shirley Dzwil, of Matawan and Marge Calandra, of Texas along with her beloved grandson, Drew Stevenson.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects Sunday from 2-5 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St, Belford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Clement's Catholic Church, Matawan, at 10 am on Monday, March 19th. Burial and committal will follow at St Joseph's Cemetery.
