Mary Emily (Quinn) Dunn

Mary E. Dunn (nee Quinn) ,93, of Little Silver, returned to the Lord peacefully surrounded by family at home Monday, November 23rd. Born in Brooklyn, Mary was widowed at a young age and moved her family from the city to Belford 56 years ago. Mother Dunn will always be remembered as the quintessential Irish Mom, a woman of untold strength and determination. Mom survived some of life's hardest knocks, but always put her family first. She was a devote catholic and lived her religion every day.
   Mary was predeceased by her husband Edward and sons Richard and Edward Jr. She is survived be her two sons Thomas and his wife Marianne of Little Silver; Dennis and his wife Pauline as well as grandchildren Dennis Jr and Theresa, all of Ok. 
    Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Sunday from 11- 1 pm at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford. A Memorial Service will be held around 12:30 that afternoon.
