Mary Louise Gehrmann, 86, of Middletown, passed away Monday, January 22nd. Mary was born in Newark, daughter of the late Matilda and Frederick Collins. Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed the New York Times, doing crossword puzzles and playing a good game of Bridge. She spent many summers at Ship Ahoy Beach Club in Sea Bright and many afternoons swimming in her pool at home, too. Mary also had a great love for all animals, but especially her beloved dogs Maurice, Duncan, Cocoa, Candy, Skippy and most of all Rudy (Rudolph) She considered her dogs her most trustworthy, best friends. Mary was also a world traveller and embarked on quite a few cruises. England was one of her favorite places to visit. When Mary spent quiet time at home, she enjoyed watching her favorite television shows like Judge Judy, Everyone Loves Raymond , TCM and of course, she would watch her favorite baseball team, the NY Mets, when they were playing.
