Mary (Parnell) O'Donnell

Mary O'Donnell, 70, of Middletown, passed away Sunday, April 9th. Mary was born in Rockaway, New Jersey on October 22, 1946, a daughter of the late Edna and James  Parnell. Mary was raised in Port Monmouth and lived in the Bayshore area all her life. She was a member of Belford United Methodist Church, and the Port Monmouth First Aid Ladies Auxiliary. Mary also enjoyed camping with her family, playing bingo, bowling and country line dancing, especially with the Tim Gillis band.  
Mary is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Michael O'Donnell,Sr. and her 6 children and their spouses; two daughters, June (Darrin) Smith and Chantal (Ron) Harvey; four sons William (Susan)  Harnett, Thomas (Sharon) Donovan, Patrick (Colleen) Donovan, and Michael (Nancy) O'Donnell Jr. Mary also leaves behind three sisters, JoAnn Dziadzio, Sue Doran, and June Hampton along with 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Wednesday from 4-8 pm and again Thursday from 9-10 am just prior to the 10 am funeral service which will be held at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St, Belford. The entombment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family will graciously be accepting donations to help offset funeral expenses.
