Michael Parulis, Jr. Obituary

Michael Mik" Parulis, Jr., a cherished family man, comunity member, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2024, at the age of 56. Born on July 26, 1967, in West Orange, to the late Michael Parulis, Sr. and Beatrice Parulis of Port Monmouth. He was a lifelong resident of Middletown.

Mike dedicated many years of his life to his work as a FIOS technician for Verizon. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and skilled professional who took pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Beyond his professional life, Mike was deeply involved in his community as a Past Exalted Ruler of the Middletown Elks 2179. His leadership and commitment to service were hallmarks of his time with the Elks, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all the members.

An avid outdoorsman, Mike found solace and excitement in hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. His love for sports was not just as a spectator; he was an enthusiastic sports fan who supported his favorite teams with passion. This love extended to coaching his children's sports teams, where he was a positive influence and role model for many young athletes. Kayla's softball and Michael's football teams benefited greatly from his guidance and encouragement.

Mike's personal interests were a reflection of his engaging and adventurous spirit. He could often be found in the company of friends, sharing stories and laughter over a beer in hand. His presence was a source of joy and camaraderie, and his absence will leave a void in the many lives he touched.

Family was the cornerstone of Mike's life. He is survived by his loving children, Kayla and her husband Matthew Huber along with their daughter, Ruth Mae, Michael Parulis, III, and Brooke Lin. His role as a father was one he cherished deeply, and his guidance and love shaped the lives of his children in countless ways. Linda Noweski Parulis, their mother, shared many treasured memories with Mike, and together they created a family filled with love and mutual respect.

Mike's siblings, William and his wife Dena Parulis, Mark and his wife Alexis Parulis, and Sharon Parulis, will remember him as the friendly, kind, and handy brother who was always there for them. His playful banter and ability to fix just about anything will be missed at family gatherings and in everyday moments.

Mike's passing leaves behind a legacy of kindness, friendship, and community involvement. His ability to connect with people, his readiness to help, and his unwavering support for his loved ones are the traits that defined him. To know Mike was to know a man who lived life with enthusiasm.

As we say goodbye to Michael Parulis, Jr., we celebrate a life well-lived—a life filled with laughter, love, and countless memories that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to cross his path. Mike's spirit will live on in the stories told, the lives he touched, and the love he shared. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
