Mildred "Aunt Millie" Palfi, 95, a lifelong resident of Middletown, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 9th, at Riverview Medical Center, the same facility where she worked for 22 years in the house keeping department, finally retiring 1993. Aunt Millie loved spending time with her family. She was also involved in all the actvities offered at Chapin Hill Health Care Center. Whether is was playing a game of bingo, Wii bowling or horse racing she was always one to participate and whenever the bus left for a trip, shopping, baseball game or a show, Millie was the first to sign up. She enjoyed staying active and even danced to her polkas with her walker in tow. Her smile and her uplifting spirit will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving and devoted great-niece Cheryl Seeley and her husband Bill. Aunt Millie is also survived by her nephew-in-law John Walling Sr, great nephew John Walling Jr. and 5 great great nieces and nephews; Megan and Patrick Seeley and McKenzie, Tyler and Brayden Walling. Millie was predeceased by her brother and sister Helen and Frank Poslusny and her niece Anne Walling.
Friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Chapel Hill Rd, Middletown.
Please meet at the cemetery office by 3:30 pm on Wednesday, October 14th.
