Otto J. Miller, 88, of Belford, passed away Thursday, March 30th. Otto was born and raised in Kremmling, Colorado then moved to Missouri in his teens and later joined the US Army during WWII. After the war he headed East to New York and Newark before eventually settling in Belford 54 years ago. Otto commuted to Wayne for many years where he was a sanitation worker for BFI. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling, especially road trips back home to Colorado and California.
Otto was predeceased by his wife, Julia "Judy" Miller, in 1985. He is survived by their 3 daughters and son-in-laws; Donna and Kenneth Olcott, of Middletown; Patricia and Ernie Whelan, of Jackson; Charlotte and Rick Colson, of Aberdeen. He also leaves behind 4 grandchildren; Melanie Long, Jason Olcott, Laurie LoPresti, Casey Whelan and 7 great grandchildren. The family will hold a Memorial at a later date.
