Richard James Meislohn, 62, of Red Bank, passed away Tuesday, February 27th. Richard was born in Red Bank, on January 4, 1956, a son of Richard and Agnes Meislohn. He lived most of his life in Leonardo before moving to Red Bank last year. Rich worked in the produce department at the area's Super Foodtowns for many years before retiring 2 years ago. Rich enjoyed cycling and fishing in his leisure time. He was most proud of being "Uncle Richie." He loved spending time with all his nieces and nephews.
Richard is survived by his father Richard W. Meislohn of Pennsylvania and was predeceased by his mother Agnes P. Meislohn in 2015. Rich also leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Mitchell and Diane Meislohn of Florida and 5 sisters; Christine A. Meislohn, of South Korea; Georgette A. King, of Tinton Falls; Renee A. Moscatello and her husband Patrick, of Lincroft; Adrienne M. Dale, of Highlands; and Lynn M. Robbins and her husband Clement Jay, of Virginia, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 10th. A 10am Visitation with Service at 11am at Christ Church, 380 Sycamore Avenue, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702
