Robert F. Wolfrum, Sr., 86, of Butler, PA. peacefully passed away at home with his family by his side on Monday, November 7th. Bob was born in Jersey City, NJ on November 4, 1936, a son of the late Katherine and William Wolfrum, Sr. He was raised in Jersey City then moved to Port Monmouth in 1965 where he and his wife raised their family. In 2016, Bob moved to Pennsylvania to be with his son.
Bob was a negative cutter at Technicolor Motion Pictures in New York City for over 25 years. He was a member of the Port Monmouth First Aid. Bob enjoyed bowling and belonged to several leagues over the years. Bob enjoyed watching football and baseball and loved watching the Yankees every day. Bob could often be found completing projects around his home and taking care of his garden. He will fondly be remembered as a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Robert was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth Wolfrum, in 2015. He is survived by their children; Kathleen Caputo, of Belford and Robert, Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Butler, PA. Bob also leaves behind 6 grandchildren; Nicole, Denise, Daniel, Jacob, Abigail and Grace; along with 3 great grandchildren; Richard, Payton and Hannah Grace.
Bob was predeceased by his siblings; William, James, and Evelyn Wolfrum, Grace Bove and Catherine Lavagno.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects on Saturday from 2 - 5 pm. A funeral service will conclude the evening at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A private cremation will take place, followed by the burial of ashes at Fairview Cemetery 10 am on Tuesday, November 22nd..
