Shawn Patrick Rash

 Shawn Patrick Rash, 44, of Barnegat, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, June 29th. Shawn was born in Red Bank,  on June 3, 1978, a son of Ellen Rash, of South Carolina and the late Dallas Rash, Jr. He was raised in Keyport and lived there all his life before moving to Barnegat 9 years ago. He graduated from Keyport High School then went in to the property remediation business. For the past several years, he was working with Insurance Restoration Services. 
   Shawn enjoyed working, but when he was not, he was always with his sons.  He enjoyed going to the beach and fishing with his sons. He loved any time spent with them. He will fondly be remembered as a loving and devoted father, son, brother and a friend of Bill W.  
   Shawn is  survived by his two beloved sons; Dallas and Patrick, along with their mother Kelley Wheeler, all of Middletown. Shawn also leaves behind his brother, John Rash of Florida; sister, Margett Budinich and his niece Bella Budinich, of Leonardo; and his Uncle Charles Boyce. 
   A Memorial Gathering will take place Tuesday from 5 - 8 pm  at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A Service will conclude the evening.
