Thomas V. Schwarze, 80, of Port Monmouth, passed away Saturday, April 1st. Tom was born in Elizabeth to Jack Schwarze and Eleanor Loveland. He was raised in Belford and attended Leonardo High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He owned Tom's Texaco in Middletown in the 1950s. He then started TVS Enterprises for long haul heavy equipment until his retirement.
Thomas is survived by his longtime companion Ann Franklin and his 5 children; Holly (Douglas) Corbet, of Leonardo; Tracey Schwarze of Fla.; Thomas Jr. (Ksenia) of Fla; Michael of Leonardo; Joseph (Barbara) of Union Beach. Tom also leaves behind 8 grandchildren; Joey, Michael, Taylor, Brad, Brooke, Nicole, Eric and Christina; his step son, Robert Pantella; and niece Tina Franklin (Frye). He was recently predeceased by his grandson, Harley.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Saint Catherine's Church, Bray Ave., Middletown, on April 22nd at 10 am.
