Tina Dunn

Tina E. Dunn, 57, formerly of Leonardo, passed away Wednesday, October 28th after a courageous battle with cancer. Tina was born in Red Bank, on July 30, 1963, a daughter of Kevin Dunn and the late Roberta Dunn (née Balsamo), She lived most her life in Leonardo and the Bayshore area. Tina belonged to the American Legion Post 338 Ladies Auxiliary and proudly served on their Color Guard. She enjoyed hiking and planning adventures with her family and friends. After having her daughter, Tina started landscaping, which gave her a flexible schedule so she could spend time raising her family. When her daughter got older, Tina started working at the Atlantic Highlands Retirement Center and belonged to the United Healthcare Workers East Union (1199 SEIU).

Tina is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Fitzsimmons, and two granddaughters: Elliana and Mia, all of Middletown. She also leaves behind her father, Kevin Dunn; and three sisters: Mary Dunn, Anna Grillon, and Robin Dunn; along with a brother,  Robert Dunn; and many nieces and nephews. Tina was predeceased by her mother, Roberta, and two brothers: Sean and Kevin.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday, November 15th from 2-5 pm.. A Funeral Service will conclude the afternoon and a private cremation will follow.
