Veronica Jean (Jennings) Foley

Veronica Jean Foley, 64, of Monroe Township, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 29th, surrounded by her family and dear friends at her home. Veronica was born in Newark, on February 27, 1956, a daughter of the late Veronica and Robert Jennings. She was raised in Kearny and moved to Keansburg in 2004. She retired to the Rossmoor Village 4 years ago. Veronica worked in  customer service at Central State Wellness and Fitness Center in Freehold. Veronica was a devoted and hardworking woman. When she was not working, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She regularly went out for spa days, shows and dinners with her childhood girlfriends and always looked forward to family gatherings. She always made it a point to stay in touch with her relatives and stayed especially close with her cousins.  
    Veronica was predeceased by her husband Thomas Foley in 2003. She is survived by her brother, Robert J. Jennings, of Manchester, nephews Christopher and Robert, and will be greatly missed by her beloved cousins and friends along with her  "puppy" Molson.
    Friends and relatives may pay their respects Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and again Monday from 8-9 am at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Catherine RC Church, Middletown,  at 9:30 am on Monday, August 3rd   The Burial and committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.

1) Face coverings must be worn while inside the funeral home.

2) Please maintain social distancing

3)  We ask that you come inside, pay your respects and offer your condolences to the family then exit the building so that other friends and family may come in and do the same.      Unfortunately, we are limited to 50 people at one time inside the funeral home.
