Vincenza Riley, 85, of Union Beach, peacefully passed away Friday, December 20th. Vincenza was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 19, 1934, a daughter of the late Matilda and Jasper Noto. She lived in Brooklyn most of her life, where she raised her family and worked as a bank teller at Brooklyn Federal Savings. She eventually moved to Union Beach for 2 years before retiring to Hazlet in 1999. Vincenzia enjoyed playing bingo and trips to Atlantic City with her husband. Vincenza was an avid Mets fan and a collector of elephant statues that she was proud to show any visitors that she had.
Vincenzia was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas Riley, in 2005, their daughter Susan O'Reilly and grandson, Shaun O'Reilly. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jarosak, of Union Beach; her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas, Jr. and Mary, of Hazlet; her two brothers, Nat Noto and his wife Annette, and Joseph Noto, her sister Anna Grossman along with 2 grandchildren; Stephen Jarosak and Patrick O'Reilly, and 4 great grandchildren; Hailey, Laci, Finn and Shea.
The Funeral Service and Burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery will be private for the family.
