William A. Clark, Jr., 105, of Middletown, peacefully passed away Saturday, January 23rd, at his home. William was born in Elizabeth and lived in Roselle before settling in Middletown in 1967. He was an Installation Supervisor at Western Electric for many years before retiring in 1972. William belonged to the First Presbyterian Church of Roselle where he was a Deacon and a member of the Men's Club. He was also a Free Mason at the Blue Lodge where he also belonged to the Craftsman Club. William also belonged to the Telephone Pioneers, the Western Square Club and the McCully Chapter- Orange Council of the Western Electric Installation Pioneers.
William was predeceased by his beloved wife of 72 years, Mildred Montag Clark, in 2009 and their son William Clark III in 2012. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Jane Clark ; grandchildren Karen and her husband Michael Carroll; Lisa and her husband Garo Karkashian, and David Clark along with four great grandchildren Dana and Nicole Carroll; Heather and Courtney Clark.
Friends and relatives may pay their respects Friday from 5-8 pm and again Saturday at 9:30 am prior to the 10:30 am funeral service which will be held at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals, 153 Church St., Belford. The burial and committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
